Admission Arrangements for September 2026
As a Voluntary Controlled School, our admissions are managed by Lancashire County Council (LCC). The following information is published in line with the School Admissions Code and related legislation:
- Published Admission Number (PAN): We intend to admit 30 children to Reception in September 2026.
- How applications are considered: Applications are processed by LCC according to its published oversubscription criteria. Places are allocated fairly and transparently.
- How to apply: Parents and carers must apply online via the Lancashire County Council admissions page: Apply for a school place
- Allocation of places: If applications exceed available places, LCC applies its oversubscription criteria to allocate places.
- Deferred or delayed entry: Parents of primary-age children can request to delay or defer their child’s entry to Reception or request admission outside the normal age group. Please contact the school or LCC for advice.

In-Year Admissions
For applications made outside the normal admission round (e.g., mid-year transfers):

Admission Appeals
If your application is unsuccessful, you have the right to appeal.
- LCC organises admission appeals for our school.
- Your appeal should be submitted using the link below within twenty days of refusal of admission. The appeal provides you with an opportunity to explain why you wish to register your child at our school.
