As we reach the end of another busy and successful term, I would like to take a moment to thank you all for your continued support. It has been a joy to see the children so engaged, enthusiastic and eager to learn throughout the Spring Term.

This term has been filled with memorable experiences, achievements and opportunities for our pupils to shine—both inside and outside the classroom. From exciting trips and competitions to special celebrations and events, it has been a term to remember.

A big welcome back to Mrs Brierley who is returning after maternity leave. We are all delighted to have her back.

I am incredibly proud of all our children for their hard work, positive attitudes and the way they continue to represent our school so wonderfully. A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated staff, who work tirelessly to provide such enriching experiences.

We hope you all enjoy a well-deserved and restful Easter break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term ahead.

Year 2 Trip to Liverpool Museum

Year 2 had an amazing adventure at Liverpool Museum! From fascinating exhibits to hands-on learning, the children were full of curiosity and excitement all day long—and represented the school brilliantly.

Swimming Gala

A huge well done to our swimming stars! Their effort, team spirit and determination made us all incredibly proud. What a splash they made!

Easter Worship

We enjoyed a beautiful and thoughtful Easter worship in church. The children took part wonderfully, making it a very special time for reflection and celebration.

World Book Day

What a day! From wizards to superheroes, the school was bursting with brilliant book characters. It was fantastic to see such a love of reading (and some very creative costumes!).

Mother’s Day Celebration (Reception)

Our Reception class hosted a lovely Mother’s Day celebration filled with smiles, kindness and special moments. It was truly heart warming.

Maths Challenge

Our mathematicians put their thinking caps on for the Maths Challenge! We saw some fantastic problem-solving and great teamwork.

Dance Champions!

We are SO proud of our incredible dance team, who WON their competition! Even more exciting—they’re heading to the regional finals in Blackpool. We’ll all be cheering them on!

FORS Easter Tombola

A big thank you to everyone who donated and took part in the Easter Tombola. It was egg-stra fun and a great success!

Science Week

During Science Week, pupils took part in a range of exciting experiments which encouraged curiosity and exploration. Thank you again for your continued support.

We wish you all a happy, restful Easter break and look forward to another fantastic term ahead!

Dream It, Be It Initiative

As part of our “Dream it, Be it” initiative, our Reception children have been exploring the exciting world of jobs and careers.

We have been very lucky to welcome a range of special visitors into school, including a neonatal nurse, nurse, post person, police officer, first aider, doctor and a sonographer. Each visitor shared what they do in their job and how they help people in our community.

The children loved asking questions, learning about different roles, and even trying out some equipment. These experiences are helping to inspire our pupils to think about what they might like to be when they grow up.

We look forward to welcoming even more visitors across school as we continue our journey of dreaming big and believing in ourselves!
